My Open Letter to ABS-CBN

Here are my letters to my Station that has served me Anime for the past 6 or 7 years, ABS-CBN, these letters were sent to Jojo Gabinete (Abante) and Ricky Lo (Star), , The first one is Addressed to Jojo Gabinete and the Last, to Ricky Lo

Alam nyo,, Sa labimpitong taon kong nabuhay sa mundong ito, Isang network lang ang naging tunay na kapamilya ko, Ang ABS-CBN,, Maraming programa ang ipinalabas dito ang siyang nagustuhan ko,, Isa na dito ang Anime nila,,

Maganda ang mga anime ng ABS-CBN,, plakado ang mga dub at ang pagkakagawa, Pero sa tingin ko,, isa lang ang sumisira sa magandang takbo ng anime sa ABS-CBN,, ang PAGPAPATAKBO

opo,, PAGPAPATAKBO, sadya ba nila talagang ginagawang uto-uto ang mga fans??,, OO nga po at swak ang mid-afternoon to early-evening slot sa anime (3:30 - 5:30 pm) kaso, Dahil sa mga nangyayaring krisis ngayon sa ABS-CBN,, NAGKAROON silang isang malaking pagkakamali, ito ay ang pagtanggal sa "Yu-Gi-Oh duel monsters". OO nga ay isang plano iyon para maisalba ang Naruto, pero sana naman ay makinig naman sila sa aming mga anime minority dahil ito ang nagpapasaya sa amin!, Maganda ang Yu-Gi-Oh kung tutuusin,, pero para na namang silang walang naririnig at sinasabi ukol sa anime at sa halip ay ginastusan na naman ang Chinovelang di namin matiis na hindi panoorin

ang isa pa,, ay ang KAKULANGAN SA EXPOSURE ng mga anime ng KAPAMILYA NATIONWIDE, Nangyari po ito sa Gundam Seed. kasi po,, MAY NAKAPAGSABI SA AKIN NA HALOS SA LUZON LANG NILA ITO IPINLALABAS,, SA VISAYAS AT SA MINDANAO NAMAN,, PURO MGA BALITANG AYAW NILA!!!!. kaya tuloy, nasira ang magandang pagpapalabas sana nito sa buong pilipinas, KAILAN KAYA SISIMULAN NG ABS ANG PAGNA-NATIONWIDE NG ANIME?? KAILAN PA??? (isa pa sa dahilan dito ay ang kakulangan ng magandang PR)

panghuli po,, dapat ay ilagay sa nabakanteng slot ng Kamao ang Gundam Seed,, para mapanood uli ito di lang ng mga fans,, KUNDI NG LAHAT NG GUSTONG MAKAPANOOD NG ANIME NA ITO at saka po, kuya jojo, ipaparating ko lang sana sa ABS na SANA PO SA DARATING NA IKA-60 TAON NILA (2006) AY KUHANIN NA NILA ANG SEQUEL NG Gundam Seed, Ang Gundam Seed Destiny

I am an Anime Fan,, A concerned Anime Fan, I have written this letter because, for one,, I represent what the others call as "the minority" , yeah, we are the Anime minority,, Everytime we do petitions on the ABS-CBN Messageboards, All the management do is to snub us, Why?? because WE BELONG TO THE MINORITY,, ABS thinks that their ANIME SHOWS is not a major part of their Programming Circuit,, and here is the proof:

1. The management ONLY PUTS REGIONAL NEWS PROGRAMS ON THE ANIME BLOCK(4:00 to 6:00 pm) and this is the reason why the other network lags them behind in terms of Anime,, THEY ONLY SHOW THEIR ANIME ON SOME PARTS OF LUZON ONLY. The network thinks that there are no people who watch anime on those areas,, well, they are wrong.
2. They never did any aggressive campaign on Anime UNLIKE THE OTHER NETWORK. ABS thinks that they are only wasting money, time and effort on these "shows" they call as KIDS PROGRAMS, well they are wrong,, Anime are not like Kids shows,, they cater to us, the teen audience. They did this kind of mentality to Gundam Seed, so the program lagged behind of it's competitor,, because of lack of promotions, PR and campaign
3. They "eliminate" Anime programs in place of some replayed chinovelas like Meteor Garden. they removed Yu-Gi-OH Duel Monsters (concurrently on third season when ABS pulled it off), to give way to that chinovela,, We were very angry when they did that,, what is the point that ABS-CBN revived meteor garden? To come back to the ratings game?? WHY ARE THEY LISTENING TO THE FANS OF F4 WHILE THEY ARE GIVING US A DEAF EAR??

So there, Mr. Lo,, are my grievances to the Anime "campaign" of ABS-CBN, I have no bad blood to the network,, I'm a true Kapamilya,, but THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO DO to AWAKEN THE ABS-CBN MANAGEMENT..on their current situation on their Anime, I hope, Mr. Lopez, Mr. Alejandro, Ms. Santos-Concio. Ms. Vidanes and Ms.(Leng) Raymundo will hear my grievances on this situation

PLEASE ABS-CBN,, HEAR ME,, I KNOW YOU HAVE NO DEAF EAR TO US,, Kapamilyas!!
